Remember how you were afraid of being home alone, of thunders, of the dark and or simply of taking the lift alone?

How did we get over them? Simply because you realise that no one was there for you when it's dark or when the thumder strikes. You realise you have to be strong because no one is there to "save you". You gotten strong when you cried to sleep cuz the next thing you know, you woke up thinking: Im never gonna let anybody hurt me. Ya afraid of the dark but you realise no one is gonna accept that. No one will be there every single time when you need to fight the dark. When ya young, people act like they understand but when you get older no one give a damn. We were self-taught how to act in front of people. Even our parents. We know how to behave so as not to get canned. We know which parent to go to for certain things. And we look out for the best situation to ask for things. We grew up getting hurt and we learn from them. Some from home, some from friends and  some from lovers.You saw how your parents fought and how one of them got hurt. You told yourself: I would be smarter I wouldnt fall. Your mother wasnt there half the time and they taught you not to be weak. You told yourself not to have too much faith in people you can only rely on yourself. Your dad hit you whenever he is in a foul mood and your mother was too scared to do anything. You realise you had to be stronger and one day you realise you were.You told yourself that Im never gonna be like him... ( but you little by little you followed his footsteps).

No one is born strong. They are force to. That is why they say the one that laughed the most cried the most too.
